Fabulous Rooster
To celebrate my mother’s 69th birthday, I made her a rooster. She has always found them beautiful and wanted to have one but because she lives in an urban area, couldn’t. The base pattern came from a book of bird patterns by Abigail Patner Glassenberg called The Artful Bird. The rest was made up using a combination of real feathers, felt, textured foams and various pieces of fabric.
